How It Works
Accounts are assigned to your condo corporation’s name.
No subscription is required, which allows for changes in board members and property managers.
A different credit card can be used each year for payment.
Account ownership may be transferred to new board members via an easy vetting process.
If you wish to use Budgi for subsequent fiscal years, the applicable fee at that time will apply.
Once You’re Set Up
Input the property information, income and expense items for your building then Budgi will produce your budget and a schedule of the monthly condo fees payable by the unit owners.
If required, Budgi can produce a schedule of payments due from owners if a special assessment is needed.
Fees for a commercial owner (if applicable) can also be calculated taking into account specific expense sharing formulas that are generally in place for such owners.
What You'll Need
Your condominium plan outlining the legal unit numbers, civil unit numbers and unit factors.
Your condo corp by-laws to extract the means by which fees are collected from a commercial owner.
Income and expense categories for your condo corp.
The annual amount for the budget year that is suggested by your reserve fund study to transfer to your capital account.
What You'll Get
The budget for the next fiscal year.
The schedule of monthly condo fees payable by owners.
The schedule of monthly condo fees payable by a commercial owner (if applicable).
The schedule of payments due from owners if a special assessment is declared (if applicable).
What it Costs
The pricing is based on a per door/unit price.
Currently the price is Canadian $3.00 per unit/door per budget generated.
So for example, if your condominium corporation has 100 units, the price would be $300.00/year.
